Linda Palomar has over twenty years of experience in intellectual property, focusing her practice primarily on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the mechanical and electro-mechanical arts, and on trademark preparation and prosecution. Ms. Palomar is a former United States Patent Examiner in the aeronautical and astronautical arts. 

She has vast experience in management of intellectual property portfolios, opinions related to patentability, freedom to operate, infringement and validity, foreign patent and trademark prosecution, and due diligence. Ms. Palomar has filed and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications, in a broad array of technology fields. Representative technology fields in which Ms. Palomar has experience include: aeronautics and astronautics; automotive and semi-trailer; fiber optic devices; connectors; sockets; antennas; lighting; mechanical devices; medical devices; home appliances; hand and power tools and machinery; material handling; protective apparel; and fasteners. 

For over twenty years, Linda has assisted clients in protecting their brands.  She has represented a wide variety of clientele, including large and small corporations, start-ups and individuals.  She regularly conducts searches and investigations to determine the availability of marks and is well versed in trademark prosecution practice, both domestically, internationally and through the Madrid Protocol.  She has successfully obtained Federal, State, Madrid Protocol and foreign registration of all types of trademarks.

Linda regularly counsels clients on infringement, licensing, and protection. She also has experience in drafting and negotiating contracts and agreements, including license agreements, coexistence agreements and assignments.
