Hojae An is a member of PKH's litigation practice group, bringing extensive experience in patent law from United States and Korean practices. His expertise lies in representing clients in intellectual property litigation and patent application reviews before the Korean Intellectual Property Office. Hojae excels in advising on a range of IP-related matters, including copyrights, trademarks, and patent applications for mechanical apparatuses.

Notably, Hojae has played a crucial role in significant legal matters, including a groundbreaking tort case resulting in $10M in damages related to metallic corrosion and gas turbine dynamics. He has also served as a liaison and legal consultant for insurance companies on complex technical issues, such as gas quality and drainage engineering.

With an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Hojae gained practical experience in the global desalination plant market before pursuing law. At Georgia State, his academic focus encompassed intellectual property law, with coursework in patent law, copyrights, trademarks, and art and entertainment law.

Outside of his legal career, Hojae served with distinction in the Korean Army, stationed at the 8th U.S. Army in Seoul, Korea, for two years.
